Restrict purchasing of essentials during the Covid-19 outbreak
Supermarkets are trying to prevent people from stock piling but it is still happening and is therefore encouraging more panic buying as there is further reporting on it in the media. Please impose reasonable restrictions to help protect supply and support those who are only buying what they need.
Because the current industry led restrictions are not working, it is causing stress for those who are trying to behave responsibly, putting vulnerable people at risk and is not incentivising people to buy sensibly.
