Add a bank holiday to promote a renewed community spirit after COVID-19
During the response to COVID-19 we are rightfully being socially distanced and isolated. When we get through this, which we will, let’s add a bank holiday where social gatherings - street parties and concerts - are actively encouraged.
The COVID-19 pandemic is, largely, promoting an incredible community spirit, but we’re unable to fully make the most of it. We need to foster this spirit and take the time to celebrate collectively getting through this challenging time.
