At the end of the Covid-19 lockdown call a 4 day bank holiday weekend for the UK
The Covid-19 lockdown, while necessary to ensure the NHS is not overwhelmed will have huge impacts on all members of the population and businesses. Call a 4 day national holiday weekend to allow a national celebration and the country to come together, shake hands, raise a glass and be together.
The country faces a difficult future, one we will manage, but one that could irrecoverably change the social dynamic and mood of the country. A 4 day holiday to reconnect, to be with friends, family and to bring the country back together is vital to steering a path out of this current crisis.
