Petition Details

Include the self employed in the 80% pay that the employed workers are receiving.

Additional Information

I am self employed and without work would be in financial hardship.
Tax and national insurance is paid by the self employed but we are not included in this pledge.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
