Create parity with employee 80% salary for self employed people
After creating the cover for people in employment up to 80% of their salary with a maximum of £2,500 this should see some parity with the millions of self employed people and not just statutory sick pay.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
