Petition Action

Allow Self-Employed visa holders to claim Universal Credit during Covid-19

Petition Details

Self-employed visa holders who have spent years paying taxes and excess health surcharges, are unable to claim any benefits from the government during this time of crisis.

We want the government to withdraw our 'no access to public funds' terms whilst the Covid-19 pandemic is underway in the UK.

Additional Information

As self-employed residents on zero hour contracts, we have been heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. We are completely unable to work, pay our bills, and no help has been offered to us.

Like all British residents, we need help in this time of crisis.
