We would like the goverment to treat the self employed as they would the employed in these troubled time and not ignore the £5 million + who also pay their taxes and national insurance

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
