Support people who have been laid off with the same support to those on PAYE
So many people have been put out of work before The government announced the scheme to help companies keep on staff. These people, mainly from hospitality industries deserve the same support as those on PAYE, it’s not their fault that these legislations came in too late.
We want the government to support those people who have lost their jobs and therefore their income, before this new help was given. These people have just missed out on this opportunity, with many employer hastily firing staff, leaving these people we no income. The vast majority are within the hospitality sector which will take a long time to recover, meaning a long period of uncertainty for these people.
