Assist Iran with medical supplies for the battle against COVID-19 pandemic.
I would like the international community to temporary set aside any differences with Iran until war on COVID-19 is won. We need to assist them with medical supplies to fight this global pandemic. This is not an Iranian problem but a global problem requiring a global response collectively.
A humanitarian plead for us to search our hearts and to ask if we truly believe that leaving the Iranian people to fend for themselves is the best that we British have to offer. I know we are so much better than that and in a time of uncertainty we have to show courage, strength and unity. This is not about what makes us different but of a shared common goal. More than ever, this is time that requires leadership and full cooperation

In it's response to the above petition the Government said:
"The UK has responded rapidly to calls for assistance from Iran and the UN to tackle the coronavirus outbreak in Iran. Alongside France and Germany we have committed £2 million towards a €5 million package of support through the WHO and UN agencies. We will continue to consider carefully all requests made for further assistance in order to help Iran respond to the pandemic."
