Petition Action

Commence curfews in large cities with immiediate effect to contain COVID-19.

Petition Details

Given that it is clearly evident that some members of the British Public are not adhering to government recommendations to tackle COVID-19, I am calling for curfews to be implemented with immiediate effect, with a house to house food distribution system to be implemented until COVID-19 is contained.

Additional Information

We already have the infrastructure in place i.e. restaurants, pubs, cafes etc to produce food on a mass scale so why not keep them in business by diverting some of the emergency government funds to keep these establishments opened, keep their workers paid and feeding the communities. Taxi firms could be a means of distributing the food parcels. This would have the effect of stopping panic buying and ensures that everyone is fed and containment measures are met.
