Implement strict border controls and shutdown air flights for Covid19
UK should implement strict controls to eliminate entry of non-residents unless for critical reasons. International air flights into the UK should be largely shutdown for a period until the outbreak is under control. These measures would be in line with many other nations around the world.
UK needs to urgently contain the outbreak of Covid19 and reduce pressure on the NHS. Although there is already sustained community transmission within the UK, the fact that overseas visitors are still entering the UK is likely to be introducing new cases and clusters around the country.
