Support self employed workers by guaranteeing their income by 80%
80% Wages for employed people have been guaranteed. For many of the five-million self employed people, there are no benefits they are eligible for to support them during the covid-19 outbreak. Everyone deserves to have their income protected at this time, despite how it is earned.
Please include self employed workers in the Wage Package Rescue Plan

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
