Create an offence of 'Profiteering'
Create a specific offence of Profiteering, which will lay dormant until times of crisis, this will help to prevent unscrupulous people buying up essential goods, such as foodstuffs and then re-selling them at exorbitant prices above the normal market price.
During the Covid19 outbreak, unscrupulous and selfish people are buying goods such as baby milk and toilet paper, at normal market value and re-selling them at vastly inflated prices. This is fuelling fear and misery and driving the unnecessary buying, hoarding and stockpiling, therefore creating that demand for those goods that are being sold at inflated prices for profit
