Force all venues to allow FOC re-arrangement of weddings or cancellations
Force venues to close for weddings and allow FOC re-arrangement or for insurance to cover cancellation by individuals
Because of Covid-19, these events are “needless gatherings” and businesses are forcing weddings to proceed that are decimated, refusing rearrangements, cancellation or refund.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about rearranging booked events are a matter for individual venues, not the Government or Parliament, and decisions to pay out under an insurance policy are a matter for individual insurance companies, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could start a new petition calling on the Government to add all wedding venues to the list of businesses which have been required to close.
