Treat self employed equally with the employed during this corona virus epidemic.
Give the self-employed the opportunity to receive more than just sick pay if they need it during this epidemic - employers can get 80% of employees salaries during this epidemic why?

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
