Include people already redundant (because of Coronavirus) in the 80% wage cover
Include people already redundant (because of Coronavirus) in the 80% wage cover. There are procedures being implemented to help those in work, etc however at this point so many people have already been made redundant as a direct result of COVID 19.
If the redundancy can be specifically proven to be as a result of COVID 19 then persons affected should be included in the government 80% wage cover from the wages they've now lost. A letter from employer confirming redundancy, the reason of COVID 19, payslip confirming basic wage, should be provided as proof in order for the 80% cover to be issued directly to those persons. They also requested to volunteer for NHS if not self isolating.
