Support the self employed NOW
There are 5 million self employed people in the UK - the list of trades extensive.
Businesses with a LTD status mean that the owner is paid as an employee and qualifies for the £2,500 per month for employees.
Self employed people are entitled to around £90 per week under UTC.
There are 5 million self employed people who have built businesses through perseverance and hardwork.
Support them by reviewing their submitted accounts and make a payment commensurate to the 80% being paid to employees.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
