Public Internet Act
In 1850 the Government passed the Public Libraries Act to ensure that all citizens had free access to knowledge and information. Today the internet rather than libraries is the primary source of knowledge and information and consequently the Government should pass the Public Internet Act to create a nationwide public wifi service. This is especially the case with Government services increasingly moving online and the closure of many libraries.
