Petition Action

Order non-essential retail stores to close to prevent the spread of COVID-19

Petition Details

Order non-essential retail stores such as clothing and beauty to close until further notice to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Additional Information

Beauty products and clothing are non-essential products at this time. With stores still operating during the Coronavirus outbreak, they are unnecessarily putting their employees and their families at risk whilst they are still working in stores when the coronavirus is so severe. Without government intervention employees are reluctant to take appropriate measures to self isolate for the fear of not receiving their pay.
