Equality in pay for the self-employed during the Coronavirus emergency.
Debate adding the self employed to the earnings compensation of 80% of earnings during the same period as employed persons.
The self employed are the entrepreneurs that the country needs and will need after this emergency. They work in areas of higher financial risk than employed persons and are being discriminated against by not being treated at least equality with employed persons.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
