Pay self employed people 80% or a living wage during COVID 19

Petition Details

We would like to see self employed and freelancers payed 80% of their average income from the past 3 years to bring them in line with PAYE employees.
Or
To implement a universal basic income of £400 a week for the self employed which equates to the living wage

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
