Petition Action

Give freelance workers 80% of their income during the corona virus crisis

Petition Details

Give freelancer workers the same 80% of their income that the Government has pledged to give salaried workers. The figure could be based on their most recent tax return.

Additional Information

Without sufficient financial support, many freelancers will lose their homes, not be able to pay bills or survive. Many people are freelance due to circumstance rather than choice, but they still pay their taxes and NI. It isn't fair to leave them to financial ruin when everyone else is getting helped.
