Force the DVSA to extend its duty of care to its UK Driving Instructors
We pay to be on a national register run by the DVSA, a government body that has closed test centres to protect examiners, as they do not deem it safe for them to be in our vehicles. However, they have failed to extend a duty of care and offer any support to is 40,000 registered driving instructors!!
The revenue to be placed on the register generates £3M per year!
1.34M theory tests: £30.9M revenue (2019)
1.66M practical tests: £102.2M revenue (2019)
Total: £136,191,357
Driving instructors are the cog of this organisation and that money is being fed straight into the government’s pockets. We are part of a government run compulsory register & the DVSA need to step in to protect its front line workers with a duty of care.
