Pop-up grocery shops outside hospitals for NHS staff during Covid-19 outbreak

Petition Details

Work with supermarket chains to supply groceries to NHS staff who are working around the clock to take care of the sick and putting their own lives at risk. Pop-up shops outside all UK hospitals will take the time and stress out of food shopping for these amazing people.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The buying and selling of groceries is a matter for individual retailers, not the Government or Parliament. A number of retailers have announced plans to prioritise NHS workers. Customers should contact their local supermarket to find out if they have put such arrangements in place.

We have published a petition calling on the Government to supply NHS key frontline staff working during Covid-19 healthy food hampers, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/306339
