No to privatising duties of West Midlands and Surrey Police
We, the undersigned call upon the British Government to abandon negotiations which would lead to some duties within West Midlands and Surrey police becoming privatised, with the potential for more wide spread privatisation taking place.
It is immoral to risk the safety and security of the British public and leave vital government services at the mercy of capital driven security firms.
This petition understands the basic human right for protection under government, and to emphasise the wrongness of privatising areas of the police to save money.
