NMC registration Oppurtunity to be opened for Overseas Nurse graduates in UK
" International Nursing Graduates" who live here for atleast 6 months under Dependent/Student Visa to be given a chance to start the registration process to NMC . CBT and OSCE are essentials....but "Language exam Barrier" is preventing so many who communicate here properly to be a Nurse
As a Registered Nurse who work in UK, I know how hauting are some wards for Nurses to work normally as there are Nurse Shortages. But due to Corona Crisis, the demand for nurses has gone up aswell.
So many nursing students , doctors and nurses who left nhs are given oppurtunities to come back and help
Why not those willing International graduates who communicates well working and studying in UK for past months cannot ?.Its not language prevents them
..its the toughtest Exam!!
Utilise them..

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The registration of nurses is a matter for the Nursing and Midwifery Council, not the Government or Parliament.
You could start a new petition calling for the Government to work with the Nursing and Midwifery Council to increase the number of registered nurses in England.
