Frontline NHS staff risk infecting themselves, their families and cross infecting everybody because they are not getting the recommended protective equipment.

Frontline NHS staff risk infecting themselves, their families and cross infecting everybody because they are not getting the recommended protective equipment.

The face mask, short gloves and apron worn by NHS staff is far short of the World Health Organization recommendations. The WHO guidelines currently recommend health staff wear a full gown and visor.

Why has this not already happened? We are behind China, Italy and many other countries and this should have been the first priority.
