Provide PPE, supplies and designated shopping slots for childcare workers.
Provide PPE, designated shopping slots and guaranteed provision of essential supplies to childcare providers (such as item that are necessary to operate).
As childcare providers, we will be the backbone that enables all other vital workforce’s to continue operating in the fight against COVID-19.
We are on the frontline, caring for the children that are potentially the transportation for the virus and likely to be carrying the infection to others.
At the end of our shifts, we have our own families to provide for, with the limited groceries available after our shift has ended, and we are also risking carrying the virus into our own homes.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the Government to provide all workers dealing with the public PPE to be protected from COVID-19

The opening and delivery arrangements for supermarkets are a matter for individual retailers, not the Government or Parliament. A number of retailers have announced plans to prioritise elderly or vulnerable customers, and NHS workers. Customers should contact their local supermarket to find out if they have put such arrangements in place.
The Government has made certain changes to enable supermarkets to work together during the coronavirus outbreak, particularly to serve customers who are elderly, ill or vulnerable: www.gov.uk/government/news/supermarkets-to-join-forces-to-feed-the-nation
We have published a petition calling on the Government to supply NHS key frontline staff working during Covid-19 healthy food hampers, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/306339
