Temporary Rationing to stop panic buying in all food retail shops
I would like to protect the ability for emergency services, armed forces, pensioners and workers/people on a low income to buy basic food and home supplies.
I am on a low wage income and the panic buying of foods and home supplies by the general population has caused me and many other people to go without.
I think it is the governments duty to restore order within the retail sector by placing a temporary ban on stockpiling of all foods and home cleaning, toiletry's and essential supplies.
I propose a 6 to 12 month rationing legislation that penalizes with a large fine and prosecution, including a prison sentence.
