Temporarily close UK borders to stop the spread of SARS-CoV-2
Petitioning the government to temporarily close UK boarders to non essential and leisure travel.
Many other countries have done this and found it advantageous. I do appreciate with the current confirmed and projected infection rates the horse has somewhat bolted. However, it would give the country more control over the situation. Stopping travel from other countries, especially those with with high infection rates could reduce the amount of active cases wandering around and stop even more spread of infection, which will inevitably help reduce the curve and reduce the strain to the NHS.
