Enforce the Hairdressing and Beauty industry to close during COVID-19 outbreak.
I run 4 hairdressing salons across London where myself and staff are constantly in contact with people, cutting their hair and touching their face despite the advice. We want the government to enforce all hairdressing salons and beauty to shut their doors as they have for restaurants and bars.
The coronavirus is effecting my business a substantial amount. I am concerned about my staff and also my clients. I am also a 68 year old man who needs to stay inside however I cannot in order to save my business. I have been on walks during the restaurant and bar lock down and see other hair salons open, but their stylists are sitting without any clients. Therefore, I know this will be a question amongst many who wonder why salons are not facing enforced closures.
