Temporarily provide basic services to all UK citizens, suspend mortgages & rents
Some people have begun missing payments to essential services. If government paid utilities a guaranteed, fair sum to continue serving the population as a whole, it would benefit the services, the citizens and the economy, as would reduce amount of other financial help needed for individuals.
Everyone needs services such as utilities, and council services etc..Government needs to provide all essential services to all UK citizens in the most economical way. By government guaranteeing to pay utility companies etc a fair sum to provide freely to nation, this would be more economical and better for the country as a whole, and fairer than trying to compensate for individual salary losses, while others are not entitled to help. Would need temporarily freeze on mortgages and rents to work.
