Petition Action

Provide all hospital doctors and key workers with protective equipment for COVID

Petition Details

Government should provide all doctors, nurses and other active key workers protective gear, including suitable masks, for protection against, and reducing the spread of, COVID-19.

Additional Information

Hospital doctors currently have no protection against COVID-19 when seeing patients during face-to-face consultations. They come back and forth between home and the the hospital, where coronavirus could unknowingly spread between patients, other doctors and their families at home.

Not only are hospital doctors affected, but so are nurses, general practitioners, and other key workers that have no choice but to be within close proximity of possibly virus-infected people. Government must act now.
