Request the EU for an agreement to extend the transition period for one year.
Avoid business, the Civil Service and individuals having to manage two unprecedented transformations simultaneously.
Coronavirus is going to place an unprecedented strain on people and institutions. They will have to transform their workings, suffer unpredictable consequences and then rebuild.
Brexit will need will need us also to adapt, sometimes substantially, and these changes will have nothing to do with those required by dealing with Coronavirus.
Both Brexit and Coronavirus should receive our full attention, and need to be separated by a reasonable period of time
