Emergency wage for self-employed due to Covid-19 crisis
An emergency wage to be given to Self-employed /Freelancing professionals as a relief to Covid-19 crisis.
It is only logical to include and not exclude millions of professionals in the present crisis management financial measures.
A wage that equals 80% of the average monthly earnings is fair to be given to the Self-Employed.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
