Petition Action

Protect British Muslims and Jews burial under UK legislation

Petition Details

We would like the Parliament to enforce “burial legislation” to provide guaranteed burial for Jews and Muslims due to the growing fear among community about covid-19.

Additional Information

Around 4 million Muslims and Jews living in UK. Figures are of 2018 according to the Office of National Statistics. There are few burial legislation's like Burial Act 1857, Burial Laws Amendment Act 1880 and Cemeteries Clauses Act 1847. None of the act give any protection of the dignified burial of the deceased.
We hope to come to an agreement as soon as possible in a timely manner.
