Grant Indefinite Leave to Remain status to Overseas Trained Health Professionals
The Overseas trained health professionals working in the UK are contributing immensely to ensure the best and continuous delivery of health and social care services to all, more so during this pandemic. We are imploring Government to exercise good faith and fairness, and bestow ILR status on them
These nurses, doctors, scientists and others, in their numbers are already sacrificing all they've got, putting in longer hours at work, covering extra shifts as a fall out from staff going to self-isolation, unable to have quality time with their families as they are ensuring everyone is being adequately treated. In the face of Covid-19 they are not deterred even when they and their loved ones are not to be tested, some of them are paying the ultimate price, loosing their lives in the course.
