Free hospital parking for NHS staff
Currently NHS staff (Doctors, Nurses, Allied health care practitioners etc) are either ineligible or have to pay extremely high prices to park at the hospitals where we work.
In these exceptional times where we will be working long antisocial hours free parking should be available to NHS staff.
Many people dont know that NHS staff have to pay high prices for parking and not all are eligible.
Hospitals make millions of pounds each year from parking tickets and fines and although you can argue we are at a time where more money needs to be injected in to our NHS many members of staff will struggle to get in to work due to difficulties with public transport.
In the current climate which we are facing we will be working long anti-social hours so to be able to get to work is essential.
