Stop the Open University price hike for short courses

The O.U short courses which take 10-20 weeks to complete and are worth 10 points have been enjoyed by thousands of people as a fascinating intellectual stimulation, for recreation and not necessarily the start of a degree. They used to cost around £150 . This huge range of stimulating courses will not appeal at triple the old price. The demise of these courses will be a sad loss and do harm to the O.U.
Can government please allow the O.U to find a loophole that allows these short courses to remain affordable for recreational users.
