Petition Action

Give people who work directly with suspected & confirmed covid-19 hazard pay

Petition Details

To consider hazard pay for those workers in the NHS and other frontline fields that have to work directly with covid-19 patients and with patients that are suspected but not confirmed. Not only do they put their lives on the line but their families as well during this difficult time

Additional Information

For years Nhs staff and workers in frontline fields have been overlooked. Now we have covid and it’s a job we chose to do but it’s not safe. Each day guidelines are updating and adapting but each shift we go in and do the job that needs doing. Now the nhs are at the forefront risking their health and the health of the families. Some even moving out of their homes to ensure they can work and students on placement get no pay yet take the same risks. They all deserve to be paid their worth
