Petition Action

Safeguard the sale of health protection products

Petition Details

Introduce legislation requiring retailers not to sell certain types of health protection products for more than their Recommended Retail Price.

Additional Information

Many online traders on Amazon and ebay as well as high street retailers are selling hand gel and masks and wipes at inflated prices causing many people to go without essential health protection products. Specifically during the onset of the Coronavirus.
This situation could occur in future times of need if not capped. Shelves are empty in local stores, there are also shortages in the health service of these essential products that are being exploited particularly face masks.
