Provide all NHS staff with adequate Personal Protective Equipment
I would like the Government to protect the NHS and its employees by ensuring all NHS staff have adequate personal protective equipment. In particular FFP3 masks, Safety Goggles, gloves and protection gowns.
Having Adequate Personal Protection Equipment will enable all Healthcare workers feeling safegaurded at the frontline, this will also enable the health and wellbeing of all NHS staff to be healthy and present to meet the demand of the upcoming rise in patients due to Covid-19. Having this type of protection will result in saving more lives. If you do not meet this requirement you will risk the lives of the current NHS staff that are currently treating patients that have tested positive for Covid-19, and all other diseases in the future.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

Advice on the use of personal protective equipment is a matter for Public Health England, not the Government or Parliament.
