Use the army to lockdown the UK
There needs to much tougher consequences for people continuing to socialise in the UK. I feel all these people that are not scared of the police and are treating this like a joke need to see the army on the streets to let them realise how serious this is.
I am doing this to put relief on the NHS and save lifes. The people ignoring your rules are going to be the cause of people dying!

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Maintaining public order is the responsibility of the police, not the military. The Government has said that the Ministry of Defence is working with a range of partners across Government, including the National Police Chiefs Council and the Home Office, to understand how it can best support the Government’s response to the outbreak. It would be an operational decision for the police whether to request assistance.
