Petition Action

Provide a bonus "danger" payment to essential workers during coronavirus.

Petition Details

I want the government to recognise the danger that essential workers have placed themselves in whilst continuing to work on the front line in hospitals, shops, police stations, carers, delivering etc... To keep this country going.

Additional Information

The government has provided money to ensure those out of work are not adversely effected by having to shut due to the coronavirus and will pay them to remain at home. However I feel a so called "danger payment" or bonus should be paid to all those workers whom place themselves at risk in essential job roles during this time of crises. For if it were not for these people the country would truly grind to a halt.
