This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure whether you want salaries to be cut for people who are currently at work, which is different to the current situation for furloughed workers. We're also not sure who you'd like to be covered in the public sector, such as whether this includes the staff of the NHS. The Government isn't responsible for all public sector workers, such as employees of local authorities.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
