Petition Action

Pay all employees 80% of their wage when they need to self isolate.

Petition Details

As it stands only business that unfortunately need to shut during the Covid-19 outbreak, are being helped by the government to pay 80% of their employees wages.
This needs to be for everyone who needs to self isolate, especially those who are on a low income.

Additional Information

Most families in the uk are on a low income and do not receive full sick pay from their employer.
If any family member who is working and must self isolate at home during the Covid-19 outbreak, are at the moment, only entitled to SSP.
This will put most working class families in financial hardship.
The government must extend paying the 80% of wages to all working families this will help relieve financial stress, in all working families at this difficult time.
