Freeze Rent and Utilities, and give financial aid to all citizens
Landlords are still allowed to evict, and even if people get a rent holiday they have to pay it back. People are not being allowed to work thus are not being paid. If you want people to stay home, give them the financial security to do so. Freeze rent and utilities and pay people 75-80% of wages.
The way this government is reacting is not that of a country with power, it is of a government who wants to protect itself while the country falls. MP's should speak up on every platform, show the public they give a damn, because this is a time where we need the help.
People will be evicted. People will die. Help them. Stop evictions. Rent freeze. Utilities freeze. Give financial aid to everyone. This is the only way to help.
