Petition Action

Suspend payment in all Pay and Display areas for the duration of the lockdown

Petition Details

Government should order all councils accross the nation to suspend the payment in all Pay and Display areas in order to help the citizens during the mandatory isolation period.

Additional Information

As it is now mandatory to stay indoors and only go out in a few scenarios, many households will necessarily have to leave their cars in Pay and Display areas nearby to their homes where they normally park outside the payment hours after work, because there are no alternatives available. If their cars are to be left there with a charge in force for long periods, this could further sink the nation's economy, specially when many people are out of a job or at risk of losing it during this period.
