Change the 2020 Easter Bank Holidays until after the pandemic due to Coronavirus

Petition Details

We want the Government to delay/postpone the Easter bank holidays until after the pandemic, when people can enjoy a joyous bank holiday.

Additional Information

A bank holiday is a day of joyous celebration and social fun. Having this during a pandemic limits its effectiveness, both in terms of the economy and increased spending on bank holidays, as well as the fact it encourages social engagement.
Postponing the bank holidays will give the Nation something to look forward to in the future, after such a challenging start to 2020.
