Reduce or withdraw the next instalment of university tuition fees due in April.
With all the uncertainty of the future, I want Government or Parliament to reduce or cancel the next proposed instalment of university tuition fees for all undergraduate and postgraduate students in April, due to the closures of universities across the UK from Covid-19.
There are many consequences for universities closing because of Covid-19, students have had their face to face lectures cancelled but moved online as well as many assignments/exams being altered.
Other problems students face are losing paid work hours and those who have children who are not at school but pay their own course fees.
It would help to reduce or even cancel upcoming course fees for all as this academic year as students are no longer receiving the full proposed course content.

Suspending payments or providing refunds for tuition fees and rent are a matter for individual universities and landlords, and not the UK Government or Parliament.
